Why plastic?
The plastic tools are designed to be gentle on your interior, so you can open up gaps without marking your trims. Use them for most jobs.

Good to know: The metal tool is much stronger, so it can scratch surfaces if it isn’t used carefully. Keep it for stubborn clips, and protect nearby trim with a cloth or tape if you need to.
